Gaylord Palms Introduces Elf-Themed ICE! for a Whimsical 2024 Christmas Experience!

Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee, Florida, has unveiled the magical theme for this year's ICE! attraction: “Elf.” This popular holiday experience transports guests into the whimsical world of Buddy the Elf™ and brings the magic of the holiday film to life with magnificent, larger-than-life ice sculptures.

The dazzling ICE! holiday attraction is masterfully carved by a team of 240 skilled artisans from Harbin, China, home of the world-famous Harbin Ice Festival. These expert artisans spend approximately 40 days at six locations to create a vibrant, icy spectacle that fills a total of nearly 120,000 square feet. Visitors from across the country will journey through vibrant, floor-to-ceiling scenes hand-crafted from 12 million pounds of ice. The attraction is kept at a cool -12 degrees Celsius to preserve the intricate frozen details. To stay warm, guests don the attraction's signature blue parkas.

This year's ICE! attraction at Gaylord Palms will capture the spirit of the holidays through iconic moments from the movie “Elf” daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Guests can enjoy unique photo opportunities, thrilling two-story ice slides and a festive atmosphere that celebrates the joy and wonder of the season.
