Duty of care towards pedestrians

Motorists have a special “duty of care” to pedestrians, who are more vulnerable and susceptible to fatal injuries in traffic accidents. Yet determining liability can be complicated and affected by a variety of factors. This process of sorting through complex facts to determine fault is one of the critical services a personal injury lawyer can provide.

Even when fault has been established, insurance companies often try to minimize claims they cannot outright deny. This is where a personal injury lawyer can be invaluable, fighting on behalf of victims to get the full compensation they are rightfully entitled to.
