Jonathan Bennett says his “dream” is to make a Christmas movie with Lindsay Lohan

Casting directors beware: The self-proclaimed “King of Christmas” has something to say.

As he walked the red carpet at Hallmark’s “Countdown to Christmas” event at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, The holiday sitter Actor Jonathan Bennett revealed to PEOPLE what wish is at the top of his Christmas list.

“My dream and my goal is to make a Christmas film with [Lindsay] Lohan and get back together for the holidays,” Bennet, 41, tells PEOPLE about reuniting with his Girls Club – Be careful, they bite! co-star. “I think that would be so much fun!”

It would certainly be a real eye-catcher for fans of the 2004 comedy – and Bennett said he would even go so far as to adopt the famous choreography of Lohan's Cady Heron, which he performs alongside Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert in the iconic talent show scene.

“I would definitely dance 'Jingle Bell Rock' with her in the movie,” Bennett says of the dance.

At her most recent appearance on Live with Kelly and RyanLohan, 36, revealed that she suggested recreating the “Jingle Bell Rock” routine in her latest Christmas film Falling in love with Christmas – “but then they forgot,” she said of the filmmakers to whom she presented her suggestions.

Meanwhile, Bennett had nothing but encouraging words for Lohan and her starring role in Netflix’s Falling in love with Christmasthe appearance, which marks her first major acting job in over a decade.

“As the self-proclaimed King of Christmas, I use my authority to welcome Lindsay Lohan to the world of Christmas movies and hereby declare this year to be Lindsay Lohan's Christmas Year,” he jokes.

Bennett also shared some words of wisdom with the actress who has made her way into the Christmas film industry.

“I think the best advice is: when fans come up to you and tell you how much these films mean to them, take the time to listen to them and hear their stories, because that will make you want to do more of them,” he says.
