Did you like Kate Middleton's green sweater dress? Zara has the best bargain lookalike

The Duchess of Cambridge is the queen of classic clothing. She loves nude high heels, elegant black dresses, tailored coats and often recycles her favourite pieces. Although she loves colours and floral patterns, she tends to stay away from crazy colours. However, when she visited a school in Enfield on Tuesday, the wife of Prince William shocked royal fans everywhere when she stepped out in a bright green sweater dress by high-end brand Eponine. The tailored dress was part of the sweater family – it had a cozy texture, long sleeves, retro front pockets and guess what? The bright hue almost bordered on neon. The dress is available online in a bold bubblegum pink and costs a cool £2,100.

However, if you want to look gorgeous like Kate in green but don't have £2,000 to spare, look no further. Zara branch is offering a very similar jumper dress in the same bright shade for just £29.99. Not bad, right? It has a more fitted neckline but the same hem, cosy texture and we think you'll agree – the colour is almost exactly the same…

Additionally, during her visit, the mother of three wore a pair of boots that we never thought we would see her in.

The £199 shoes from high street store LKBennett featured an impressive 3.5-inch heel and a lace-up front, which would have made Kate nearly 6ft 11in tall with her 5ft 10in daughter. Wow! Kate usually opts for lower block heel boots, so these edgy shoes were quite a change for the royal. The 37-year-old loves a high street bargain and has been a long-time fan of LK Bennett since 2011 when she first wore the brand's now infamous nude heels.
