Lady Gaga | Lady Gaga is engaged to Michael Polansky

Lady GaGa has sparked rumors that she is engaged to longtime boyfriend Michael Polansky after she introduced him as her fiancé.

The 38-year-old pop star is in Paris for the 2024 Olympics after recording a performance for the opening ceremony. She was also seen meeting French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at one of the swimming events and was filmed introducing her long-term boyfriend as her “fiancé.”

In the clip posted by Attal on TikTok, Gaga can be seen greeting the politician before introducing her “fiancé” Michael, who leans forward to shake Attal's hand.

Attal captioned the video: “Thank you Lady Gaga for your stunning performance at the opening ceremony. It was breathtaking.”

The couple is said to have been together since 2020. The singer was previously engaged to actor Taylor Kinney – they were together for around five years after meeting on the set of their music video for “You and I” in 2011.

They got engaged on Valentine's Day 2015, but split up the following year.

Gaga subsequently dated talent agent Christian Carino and there were also rumors that the two were engaged. However, they split in 2019 after two years together.

The 'Born This Way' singer previously admitted she was “excited” to get married and have children, and that she also wants to do more philanthropic work and fund a team of doctors to conduct research into fibromyalgia and the neuropathic and chronic pain she suffers from.

Gaga told InStyle magazine that her goals are: “Marriage. More music, more movies, more charity with the Born This Way Foundation [a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and supporting mental health and wellness].

“I want to get much more involved in charity work. I want to help fund more research into fibromyalgia and neuropathic and chronic pain by putting together a team of doctors.

“I have many dreams and hopes. What I will actually achieve, I don't know, but I know that I will do it with the people I love.”

When asked what it was like to start a family, she said: “All I can say is that I am very excited about having children. I am looking forward to becoming a mother. Isn't it incredible what we can achieve?”

“We can carry a human being inside us and let it grow. Then it comes out and it's our job to keep it alive. It's so funny – everyone works from home every day. When they come in, I always say, 'Welcome to the womb!'”
