Jamie Lomas from “Hollyoaks” leaves his role at Warren Fox

Hollyoaks Spoilers follow.

“Hollyoaks” star Jamie Lomas will leave the Channel 4 soap at the end of his current contract.

The actor, who has played Warren Fox on and off since 2006, will exit the role later this year, according to The Sun.

This is Lomas' fourth exit from the soap opera. He first left in 2009 after three years in the role of Warren, when his character died in a fire.

A shocking twist later led to his return for another stint from 2010 to 2011, when he was arrested for the murder of his wife, Louise Summers.

Lomas returned to the soap in 2016, but left just a year later to take part in I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

“I had to make a decision – whether to sign or take the risk. The risk was that I wanted to do this. And I felt like it came at the right time. And it paid off because I'm doing it,” he explained at the time.

The soap star then made a cameo appearance in 2019 before making a permanent comeback in 2020.

Warren is currently embroiled in a devastating story involving the death of his daughter Ella Richardson. He soon learns that she was killed by Ste Hay in a car crash.

Although Ste's husband James Nightingale blamed drug dealer Kane, Warren will find out the truth and vow revenge in scenes airing next week.

“As we all know, Warren Fox is the tough guy in the village and Ella has been such a big part of his life over the last few months,” Kieron Richardson, who plays Ste, recently said.

“He missed out on so much with her and he got the opportunity to bond with a daughter he never knew he had and then Ste took all that away from him. He's not going to be happy.”

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 every weekday at 7:30pm. The episodes will then air on E4 the following day before premiering on YouTube a week later.

Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
