Pandaw's classic Mekong Expedition departs from central Saigon. Starting or ending in Vietnam's bustling metropolis, the seven-day expedition takes intrepid travelers along the mighty Mekong, through the vast delta teeming with human existence, and into the tranquil countryside of Cambodia.

There is probably no river in the world as sacred as the Ganges and an expedition down the lower reaches of the Ganges or Hugli is one of the most beautiful river journeys imaginable. The river meanders through the lush countryside of West Bengal, home to culturally significant cities filled with temples and palaces. There is a vibrant rural life and there is never a dull moment as we leisurely cruise along this pleasant waterway.

You'll start or end our newly revamped seven-day journey in either the former colonial capital of Kolkata or Farakka, site of the famous Farakka Dam where the holy Ganges flows into the Hooghly. With a one-way first class train ticket between Farakka and Kolkata, this is the perfect way to explore West Bengal in true Pandaw comfort and style.

Enjoy the splendour of Laos on Pandaw's 10-day expedition on the Upper Mekong. As you sail between Chiang Khong on the Thai-Lao border and through Laos to Vientiane, the old French capital, you'll experience stunning scenery, meet incredibly warm and friendly locals and learn about Laos' national animal, the majestic elephant. We stop for three nights in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Luang Prabang, with its dazzling wood-carved monasteries, before sailing through rapids and gorges deep into the mountains on our powerful little Pandaw vessels.
