A David Lynch festival is coming to London – HERO

Big news about David Lynch: The London Irish Centre in Camden is hosting a weekend festival dedicated to the American author in September. A gathering of angels comes from the same people who organised the hugely successful Twin Peaks UK Festival, which ran from 2010 to 2019 and featured screenings, panel discussions, special guests and even the chance to dress up as your favourite Lynch character.

Dana Ashbrook aka Bobby Briggs himself will be in attendance, as well as many other actors and crew members such as editors, producers, casting directors, cameramen and makeup artists, all of whom have worked with Lynch over the years on projects such as Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive And Twin Peaks.

In addition to meeting and exchanging ideas with other Lynch fans, there will also be many events, such as a Twin Peaks: Firewalk with me Puzzle Experience, which is being touted as a sort of surreal escape room, and a screening of Lynch-inspired short films for visitors to submit. If you want something more extreme, a specialist LA tattoo artist will be on hand offering Lynch tattoos for the mega fans among us.

A Gathering of the Angels will take place at the London Irish Centre in Camden on 14 and 15 September. Weekend and day tickets are available here.
