BRONX, NY—A 40-year-old woman was robbed while riding the MTA BX12 bus near the intersection of East Fordham Road and Valentine Avenue on Saturday. The incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. when an unknown man approached the victim and stole her purse, which contained credit cards.

The suspect, described as light-skinned and last seen wearing tan clothing, fled the bus on foot heading south on Valentine Avenue.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident or the suspect to come forward to help with the investigation.

  • Two motorcyclists involved in collision on Lincoln Highway

    NORTH VERSAILLES, PA—Yesterday at 9:00 p.m., a serious collision between two motorcycles and a vehicle occurred on Lincoln Highway. The Allegheny County Police Department's Accident Reconstruction Unit and Homicide Unit are currently investigating the incident.

    First responders on scene found an adult female motorcyclist in critical condition and an adult male motorcyclist in stable condition. The driver of the vehicle involved, also an adult male, sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment.

    Initial reports indicate the motorcyclists collided with a vehicle leaving a business parking lot. As detectives continue their investigation, they ask anyone with information about the incident to contact the County Police Tip Hotline at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers may remain anonymous.
