This Deadpool emoji poster is the only reason we need to see the movie

If Dead PoolIf the fake Valentine's Day ad isn't enough to get moviegoers excited, then maybe the upcoming R-rated superhero movie's latest emoji poster will do the trick. That's right, folks. The 20th Century Fox marketing team (who do a great job, by the way) planted this little beauty somewhere in California. And the delicious cherry on top? Comedian Patton Oswalt tweeted a photo of the poster on Wednesday and professed his love for it.

Seriously… what’s not to like about the visual genius of this silly billboard? The human skull is an obvious symbol for “death” or “dead,” and the pile of shit is perhaps the most famous emoji of all. While Dead PoolThe title of doesn't contain the word “s**t,” it contains “poo,” so add a single “L” and you're in business.

Of course, some who see this poster might not be so happy about the lack of actual words. “Emojis! What is this crap? The sheep are so stupid these days,” they will say. Deadpool himself would probably tell them, “Hey, if emojis are good enough for the Oxford English Dictionarythen they are good enough for me.”

Deadpool hits theaters on February 12th.
