Neural Dominion is a cyberpunk 4X strategy game full of crime

With Civilization 7, we can expect another serious contender for the ranks of the best 4X games. That means a unique cyberpunk twist on everything you'd expect from the best 4X games: managing the sectors you control, researching economic, strategic and technical improvements, conducting underground business, staying one step ahead of the law, and gaining the upper hand on your competition.

You'll use global forces to tip the balance in your favor on Neural Dominion's campaign map, and tactical powers to achieve victory at the combat level. Use hacking, extortion, kidnapping, and even murder to gain dominance, then run illegal businesses like gambling, bloody sports, drug trafficking, and arms dealing to earn the money you need to succeed. Of course, you'll need to be careful how you deal with the pressures of the law – whether through clever outmaneuvering or good old-fashioned bribery.

Of course, you can't stay out of trouble forever. Combat in Neural Dominion is inspired by JRPGs, with a choice of turn-based and “Active Time” battles. You'll want to train troops and equip them with the best cybernetic implants, armor, and weapons to beat your competition. There are also a number of distinctive gang leaders based on “both classic and modern cyberpunk sensibilities.”

“One of my favorite genres is 4X strategy, and one of my favorite game scenarios is well-designed cyberpunk universes,” writes Slava Heretz, CEO of Camlann Games. “This one satisfies both desires. There's a lot here that players familiar with the strategy genre will appreciate. And there are some really interesting and unique elements that I've honestly never seen in the genre before.
