The release date of The Veilguard is announced for October

It's been a long road to get here, but we now know that Dragon Age: The Veilguard is coming out on October 31, 2024. That date was supposed to be revealed in an official stream later today, but the release date trailer leaked beforehand, likely because it appeared on YouTube as a pre-roll advertisement earlier than planned.

A late October release date was expected, as the game's artbook was scheduled to be released on October 30th according to a publisher listing, which we now know is the day before the game's official launch. It will likely fill a big gap in that time for some players, as this year's October lineup was missing an open and deep RPG.
