What you should know for 2024

The Owls started 4-1 last season before many of their core players went down before district play. With most of their core players returning, Reagan County is poised to take another shot at the district title in 2024. Kason Brown returns to lead the offense and is a dual-attack option with 2,000+ yards passing and 500+ yards rushing. His twin brother, Jarrett Brown, returns to the field after suffering a season-ending injury in Week 3 against Crane and brings a versatile skill set on offense and defense. Speed is key for Reagan County and the team has plenty of that on the perimeter, with Franklin and Johnson being the two main targets. Holland is an X-factor in the front seven to help against the run game.

“The attitude of the kids has been great, our numbers are really good. So we're really excited about the season and the group that we have out there right now… Some of the kids that started for us last year as freshmen late in the season because of an injury are actually on the junior team now, so I think we're in a lot better shape numbers-wise, and we've got everybody back with us now that was injured last season. And we're hoping that we stay clear of the wave of injuries, and if we can do that, we can have a successful season.”
