Nashville police say the killing of a 35-year-old man on Charlotte Pike was targeted and are looking for clues

A 35-year-old man died in a targeted attack in West Nashville on Friday evening, Metro Nashville police said.

Police are seeking clues and offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of those involved in the killing of Jorge Noel Cruz-Garcia, a news release said Saturday.

The release said four gunmen confronted Cruz-Garcia outside a market at 6208 Charlotte Pike. The gunmen first shot Cruz-Garcia just before he attempted to get into his car and then chased Cruz-Garcia, who ran across the street to escape the gunfire. The release said the gunmen shot Cruz-Garcia again as he lay on the ground.
