How do you follow the biggest game of the last decade? That's the dilemma Rockstar Games must grapple with as they prepare for release GTA6.

The last installment in the hugely popular video game series was released in 2013, has now sold over 200 million copies and offers us one of the most immersive open worlds ever created.

It has been a staple of the gaming scene for the past decade and now fans are clamoring to find out everything about the latest installment in the cult franchise.

What was revealed in the GTA6 Trailer? Who are the main characters in GTA6?

The first and so far only trailer for GTA6 was released in December 2023 and gave a first glimpse of what fans can expect from the new game world.

It featured two protagonists, one named Lucia and another presumably Jason, along with a look at the fictional state of Leonida, which is based on the real state of Florida, and Vice City, which is based on Miami.

The GTA The series has already stopped off in its version of Miami with Vice City And Vice City Stories.

It is believed that the relationship between Lucia and Jason is inspired by Bonnie and Clyde.

There was a big emphasis on social media in the game, with the 90-second trailer parodying a number of famous viral clips and plenty of other little touches too.

In addition, a release period of 2025 was announced, which has since been shortened to fall 2025.

When is the second GTA6 Trailer? Are there screenshots?

There is currently no news about a second trailer or screenshots.

However, in early 2024, Rockstar updated the GTA6 section of his website with placeholders for four images before quickly reversing it.

When is GTA 6 coming out? Is there a release date for GTA 6?

GTA6 The release is planned for fall 2025.

When the trailer was released, Rockstar Games had given a release window of 2025, but Take-Two shortened that figure before an earnings call in May.

Ahead of its recent earnings call in August, Take-Two confirmed that the game's release was still on schedule, but did not provide any further details about the title.

The game's IMDB listing listed a release date of October 27, 2025, but that date has since been retracted.

Were there any GTA6 Leaks?

In September 2022, there was an absolutely huge leak, with around 90 videos of gameplay footage from early development being posted online.

After speculation about whether the leaks were real or not, Rockstar confirmed them. Most of them have since been removed from various online forums.

It's the largest map Rockstar has ever created, and the latest map from the Mapping Project, an online community that compiles what it believes will be the in-game map based on news, speculation, and leaks, has been expanded to include the Florida Panhandle.

What can I play GTA6 To?

Rockstar has confirmed that the game will be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

There has been no mention of the game being available for PC. The game will not be playable on PS4 or Xbox One.
