Watch the trailer for the CrossFit Games 2023 documentary ahead of its September 3 release date

In the past, CrossFit has released a documentary of the last CrossFit Games in the weeks leading up to this year's games. This year, however, the release was delayed due to distribution issues. The 2023 CrossFit Games release, titled “Fittest on Earth: Final Showdown in Madtown,” is now scheduled for September 3, 2024, according to Swank Motion Pictures.

The shipment description for the documentation is:

“Dive into the sprawling ecosystem of the 2023 CrossFit Games, where a diverse group of elite athletes will compete for the coveted title of Fittest Man/Woman on Earth. Granting exclusive access to key figures as they experience exhilarating highs and devastating lows, this documentary reinforces the connection between each competitor's intense, personal journey and their breathtaking feats of pure, unadulterated athleticism.”

The 99-minute documentary can be pre-ordered on iTunes for $14.99. It is not known whether it will be distributed on other platforms.

The trailer and release of the documentary come at a difficult time for the CrossFit community following the tragic death of Lazar Djukic during the inaugural event of the 2024 CrossFit Games.
