TikTok is craving cucumber salad after this user's videos went viral.

“Sometimes you just need a whole cucumber,” Logan begins most of his videos, and he really means it. He usually slices a whole cucumber with a mandoline and places the pieces in a plastic deli container before adding the magic. He's also a fan of adding MSG (his trademark is “MSG, obviously”).

In one of his previous viral cucumber videos, he combines cucumbers, soy sauce, fish sauce, rice vinegar, two whole green onions, a whole grated garlic clove, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. In another, he mixes cucumbers with olive oil, red pepper brine, white vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.

If you like it spicy, try this recipe, to which he adds tahini, “MSG, of course,” Korean chili flakes, honey and the juice of half a lime and half a lemon. “If you like it sour or spicy, you'll love this,” he says.

Of course, always remember to loosen up your salads.

There's also a bagel he calls “salmon avocado bagel theme” that includes cucumbers, cream cheese, ranch dressing, bagel seasoning, slices of smoked salmon cut into small pieces, capers, and finely sliced red onion.

And for the meat lovers, he also makes a “steak sandwich style” cucumber salad, where he slices a whole steak and adds it to his pickles before adding thin red onions, cherry tomatoes, grated cheese, parsley, extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, a balsamic glaze, salt and pepper, and “of course, MSG.” He says it “tastes like a steak sandwich in a deli wrapper.”

But if you're just looking for a simple “midnight snack,” as he calls this Salt and Vinegar Cucumber Chips recipe, you can take your cucumber slices and add vinegar, salt, “MSG, of course,” and sugar.

He also has a cucumber kimchi. Logan's TikTok has tons of recipes – even ones that don't contain cucumbers.

Logan, who is from Ottawa, said in an interview with Today that he took inspiration from Korean cooking YouTuber Maangchi, with the outlet noting that one of his salads resembles her “spicy cucumber side dish.” Mmm, so many possibilities. We want to try both!

Now if you'll excuse us, we're at the supermarket buying… well, you know.
