Rose Namajunas vs. Erin Blanchfield headlines UFC Fight Night Edmonton in November

The fight between Rose Namajunas and Erin Blanchfield has been officially confirmed for UFC Fight Night on November 2nd at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB. The pair will face off in the five-round main event of the women's flyweight division.

A former two-time strawweight champion and No. 5 flyweight, Namajunas (13-6) is making her third Octagon appearance this year and is seeking a third straight win. In her last appearance at UFC Denver in July, the 32-year-old scored a unanimous decision victory over Tracy Cortez. In March, the Milwaukee, Wisconsin native defeated Amanda Ribas in similar fashion.

No. 3 Blanchfield (12-2) will fight for the second time in 2024 and hopes to return to winning ways. The 25-year-old from Elmwood Park, New Jersey, lost a unanimous decision to Manon Fiorot last time out in March at UFC Atlantic City.

“I love Canada,” said UFC General Manager Dana White. “I'm thrilled to be returning to Edmonton. The city has hosted some great events in the past and I can't wait to deliver an amazing night of fights. Alberta fans are some of the most passionate in Canada and I know they will bring the roof off Rogers Place.”

Also confirmed for the event is a heavyweight bout between former title challenger and No. 11 ranked Derrick Lewis (28-12, 1 NC) of New Orleans, Louisiana, and No. 13 Alexandr Romanov (17-3) of Moldova. Additionally, Marc-Andre Barriault (16-8, 1 NC) of Gatineau, Quebec, and Dustin Stoltzfus (15-6) of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, will meet in the middleweight division.

In addition, Chad Anheliger (13-7) of Calgary, Alberta, and Cody Gibson (21-10) of Blackwell, Oklahoma, will meet in the bantamweight division. In two women's flyweight bouts, Ariane da Silva (17-9) of Brazil will face Jasmine Jasudavicius (11-3) of St. Catharines, Ontario, and Jamey-Lyn Horth (6-1) of Squamish, British Columbia, will face Croatia's Ivana Petrovic (7-1).
