Sheriff: Aurora man tasered and arrested after hitting acquaintances with pistol

A 51-year-old Aurora man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly striking a man he knew with a gun.

The Kane County Sheriff's Office responded to the 600 block of Crane Street around noon, where they found a man with minor head injuries. The victim told officers that Javier Morales, whom he knew through business dealings, struck him with a firearm before leaving the scene in a black Ford Taurus.

Officers said they pursued Morales to his home, where he refused to comply. Officers then used a Taser to subdue Morales before taking him into custody.
