Video footage of Nimra Khan's attempted kidnapping has surfaced online

A CCTV footage of the attempted kidnapping of Pakistani actress Nimra Khan in Karachi’s upscale DHA area has surfaced!

The released footage confirmed earlier reports from Nimra, who said she was attacked while waiting for her car outside the Ramada hotel at 7.21pm on August 11.

In the video Ehraam-e-Junoon The actress was seen standing on the side of the road when a motorcycle stopped next to her.

She quickly walked away and signaled a passing car to stop. When the car stopped, the driver's kidnapping plan was foiled and she was able to quickly escape.

Responding to the heartbreaking incident, DIG South Asad Raza and SSP South Sajid Sadozai initiated an official inquiry into the matter.

A committee has been set up under the leadership of SDPO Manisha Rupeta to further investigate the case and collect all relevant facts.

Nimra's harrowing experience was captured in a video statement on Instagram that quickly went viral.

Tear, the Khoob Seerat Star said: “I was waiting for my car outside a restaurant in DHA Phase VIII.”

“My family was stuck in traffic because of the rain and I was waiting for them with my phone in my hand and a bag over my shoulder.”

Nimra Khan continued to sharply criticise the current situation in the country and called on all women to stay at home and protect themselves.
