Galaxy S25 Ultra leak shows major changes fans have been demanding

Samsung hasn't launched the Galaxy S25 Ultra yet, but leaks are already revealing key details. The latest leak revealed the phone's upcoming design changes.

Leaker Ice Universe, who has a solid track record of Samsung-related leaks, has shared an image of a smartphone that appears to be the upcoming S25 Ultra.

Ice Universe didn't mention the name of the phone, but the form factor suggests it's one of Samsung's Ultra models. Additionally, in previous posts on X, the leaker has compared the phone to the S24 Ultra, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and older Samsung S Ultra phones.

The biggest change visible in the picture is the form factor. The smartphone has rounded corners, while all previous Ultra models after the S21 Ultra have sharp corners.

This suggests that the S25 Ultra is more comfortable to hold, which is not the case with the S24 Ultra. This phone digs into your palms if you hold it for too long.

Samsung fans are overjoyed

Samsung fans are excited about the news. “The rounded corners should definitely make for a better grip,” wrote one user on X. “Here we go. I'd prefer it to be a bit rounder, but this is OK – much better than the lump we currently have,” said another.

“This design keeps the Ultra vibes alive and improves the hand feel – the best of both worlds,” noted one fan.

Ice Universe said in a separate X-post that the S25 Ultra also has a narrower body than the S24 Ultra and a wider screen, which is an ideal design.

The leaker didn't reveal what the back of the phone will look like, but if we had to guess, it would probably resemble the S24 Ultra and feature four cameras in separate rings.

Daniel Araujo, vice president of Samsung Mobile Experience (MX), revealed earlier this month that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will offer “top-notch” upgrades. According to Araujo, the phone’s camera, AI performance and display technology will be improved to provide a top-notch experience.

A leaker from China claimed in July that the S25 Ultra will have essentially the same battery and charging speed as the S24 Ultra, namely 5000mAh and 45W.
