Koreless releases Deceltica EP – Northern Transmissions

Koreless has released a new EP, titled SubscribeThe album is out now on 12″ via Young and includes a new single “Deceltica” as well as the previously released single “Seven”, a lively “Seven” remix by Welsh producer and friend Jorg Kuning and an extended version of “Seven (Drumhell)”, which first appeared on HAAi’s DJ Kicks compilation.

After pouring everything into the complex creation of his debut album Agor, Koreless retreated from the chaos of London to the tranquil countryside of his birthplace of Wales. This move sparked a new sense of freedom and inspiration. Embracing this new perspective, Koreless began experimenting with new chords, beats and instruments, creating the Deceltica EP. The four-track project quickly gained recognition and was frequently played by notable DJs such as Four Tet, Batu, Benji B, Courtesy, HAAi, 2manydjs and Daphni – who invited Koreless to perform at a free party in Neuadd Ogwen, where the tracks received a huge response, leading to the physical release.

Although this is Koreless' first solo project in over two years, he has collaborated with several artists. He composed an original score for Thomas Hardiman's crime film MEDUSA DELUXE and worked closely with choreographers Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar on “Into The Hairy,” where he showcased his talent for integrating music and movement. Additionally, Koreless continues his long-standing partnership with FKA twigs, which previously included collaborations on MAGDALENE and CAPRISONGS, as well as “unearth her,” which performed at Valentino L'École. During her recent Vogue cover interview, twigs referred to Koreless as a “guiding star” on her upcoming album.
