Opening a viral coffee chain in Buffalo, New York?

There are plenty of places to get your caffeine fix in Buffalo. We have plenty of local spots like Spot Coffee, Public Espresso, and Overwinter Coffee, to name a few. Not to mention, virtually anywhere in Western New York has a Dunkin' or Starbucks nearby.

While the Buffalo area doesn't necessarily need another coffee shop, we're still curious about this popular, national chain that could open here in the near future.

National coffee chain wants to open in Buffalo

Buffalo Business First reports that the popular national chain 7 Browswith over 250 stores nationwide, is considering the Buffalo area as a possible location to open a new store; one of over 60 locations the company plans to expand into the northern part of the state.

7 Brew's menu consists of their seven (get me right) original blends: Blondie, Brunette, Smooth 7, White Chocolate Mocha, Cinnamon Roll, German Chocolate and Sweet & Salty, along with a selection of energy drinks, shakes, smoothies and teas.

That's why 7 Brew is different from other coffee shops in Buffalo

What sets 7 Brew apart from typical cafes and chains is the lack of a restaurant area inside. Rather, each tiny location consists of two small drive-thrus, one on each side of the building, with the goal, according to their website, to “serve premium coffee in record time.”

7 Brew's buildings are made from modular pieces that are manufactured elsewhere and assembled on-site. This means they can build a new location incredibly quickly – often within a matter of weeks. So don't be surprised if we see a new 7 Brew location (or more) here in Western New York sooner rather than later.
