WATCH: Bodycam video shows arrest of murder suspect Rachel Morin

BETHESDA, Maryland. – Body camera footage released by Tulsa police shows the moment Rachel Morin's suspected killer, Victor Martinez Hernandez, was arrested at an Oklahoma bar.

Martinez Hernandez was arrested in June at a bar in Tulsa, Oklahoma, following a nationwide manhunt for the El Salvador native.

According to officials, Martinez Hernandez, who is suspected of having ties to a gang, fled his home country in February 2023 after an arrest warrant was issued for the murder of a woman.

He made three unsuccessful attempts to enter the United States before making it across the border near El Paso, Texas, on February 13, 2023, authorities said.

Prosecutors and police say he attacked a nine-year-old girl and her mother during a burglary in Los Angeles in March before attacking Morin on the Ma & Pa Heritage Trail in Bel Air, Maryland, on August 5.

He is accused of leading her astray, beating her so brutally that she suffered more than ten cuts to her head, and then strangling her to death.

Martinez Hernandez was extradited to Maryland in July.
