The Bloodline defeated Roman Reigns on Friday on SmackDown.

Jacob Fatu attacked Reigns after the original tribal chief Solo accepted Sikoa's challenge to take the Ulafala from him.

Reigns first overtook Sikoa and Tama Tonga and slowly applied the Ulafala to the cheers of the crowd in Orlando, Florida.

But Fatu attacked Reigns out of nowhere and threw him into the ring post before Sikoa and Tonga could recover. Eventually Fatu and Tonga lifted Reigns up for Sikoa, who powerbombed his former leader through the announce table.

The trio then threw the injured Reigns into the ring and all three posed over him as the show ended.

Fatu was conspicuously out of action for a few weeks. Concerns were raised after Cody Rhodes fell onto the announce table outside the ring during Rhodes' Universal title match against Sikoa at SummerSlam on August 3. Fatu conspicuously held his right leg and had difficulty getting back to his feet afterward.

Triple H said in his post-SummerSlam press conference that Fatu was “a little banged up,” but did not give any details about his injury. Then pictures soon emerged showing Fatu wearing a walking boot on his right foot.

However, Fatu came back with a vengeance on Friday and thanks to his efforts, the bloodline gained the upper hand over their former tribal chief.
