Two teens injured, one arrested in shooting at Grant County Fairgrounds | Spokane News

Update 16 August, 21:55 – MOSES LAKE, Washington — Grant County officials report that two juveniles were shot and one person was arrested in connection with the shooting at the Grant County Fairgrounds.

According to the sheriff's office, the condition of the two young people is unknown, but they were taken to the hospital. Officials advise rodeogoers to follow the instructions of rodeo staff. Officials said there is no further threat.

The shooting occurred on the carnival grounds and was confined to that location. People on the campsite do not need to be evacuated.

According to the Grant County Sheriff's Office, a shooting occurred at the fairgrounds that left one person injured. Officials said one person was arrested.

Deputies are asking anyone on the fairgrounds to evacuate quietly. Deputies said the rodeo will not be evacuated.
