Man accused of kidnapping Ohio woman twice in custody after two-month manhunt – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

LIMA, Ohio – A man accused of kidnapping a woman for the second time while fleeing from police has been arrested after a two-month manhunt.

The U.S. Marshalls announced that 38-year-old Quinntel Bagley was arrested in Lima on Friday. our news partners at WBNS-10 TV reported.

According to the U.S. Marshals Office, he was found hiding in a home in the 400 block of Cornell Drive by Ohio State Highway Patrol officers, the FBI and other agencies.

Bagley was wanted for aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, failure to comply with regulations, violation of probation for kidnapping, and failure to register as a sex offender.

Grove City Police responded to reports of a missing woman on June 13.

The investigation revealed that Bagley surprised the woman at home, grabbed her and dragged her into his vehicle.

Three hours later, the woman was found at a gas station. Bagley was found and arrested shortly thereafter.

Two police officers escorted Bagley to a patrol car after he was treated for some injuries at Fairfield Medical Center.

He escaped the police and ran out of the parking garage into a nearby forest.

The officers were later disciplined for failing to properly escort Bagley.

That same day, Bagely reportedly broke into a home, stole an SUV at knifepoint and drove away.

The vehicle was later found near US 33 and Hamilton Road.

Jason Stern, lieutenant of the Grove City Police Department, said WBNS-10 TV that Bagley kidnapped the same woman from her home again two weeks ago and drove her to West Columbus.

She was able to escape unharmed.

Bagley was taken to the Allen County Jail pending his extradition hearing.
