Man City injury update: Latest news and return dates for Kyle Walker, Ederson and Nathan Ake

Manchester City put in an impressive performance, beating Aston Villa 4-1 without causing Pep Guardiola any new injury problems.

Phil Foden shone against Villa, scoring his second hat-trick of the season, while Guardiola opted to rest both Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne.

Nathan Ake was missing after limping off the pitch in the 27th minute of Sunday's dismal draw with fellow title rivals Arsenal.

Kyle Walker and Ederson are also currently out through injury, but City are in impeccable shape in both midfield and attack and are aiming for an unprecedented fourth Premier League title in a row.

City travel to Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon hoping to keep the pressure on rivals Liverpool and Arsenal.

Here is your latest update on Manchester City injury news and return dates…

The Dutch international sustained a calf injury in last weekend's draw against Arsenal.

The 29-year-old defender was not included in City's squad when they swept Champions League contenders Villa.

“I don't know the exact time,” commented Guardiola. “He certainly won't be ready for the next games.”

Possible return date: end of April 2024
