Video: Highlights of the Reece Wallace Invitational

From August 1-3, Reece Wallace hosted the 2nd annual RW Invitational freeride competition in his backyard in Nanaimo, BC.

Riders from all over the world came and competed for the best trick, the best whip and rider of the week. Reece and some of his pilot friends even took the riders on scenic flights on their rest day.

I love freeride mountain biking. It's such a joy to host an event to give back to a sport that has given me so much. It's clear that the next generation of riders is here and I'm excited to support these up and coming talents competing with some of the best. I'm speechless that this is the only major freeride bike event in BC and I'm working hard to develop it for next year. Hopefully we can set a precedent for other pros to open up their properties and start a backyard freeride track in North America – Reece
