OLD FORESTER ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF ITS 2024 ANNIVERSARY BOURBON

Global tequila brand Patrón has announced its latest innovation with the release of the distinctly clear and deliciously smooth Patrón Cristalino.

Offering a modern style of tequila, the Cristalino category is growing in popularity, offering more luxury, sophistication and a unique experience. Made with just three natural ingredients – 100% Weber Blue Agave, water and yeast – the spirit showcases the subtleties and depth of barrel-aged flavor with crystal clear tequila.

“As a brand with a long tradition of redefining standards, we are particularly proud that Patrón Tequila will once again raise the expectations of Cristalino tequila by combining centuries-old Mexican craftsmanship with a modern, forward-thinking approach,” said Samantha NewbyGlobal Vice President of Innovation and Sustainability at Patrón Tequila.

“Innovation can be seen in every part of Patrón Cristalino, from its smooth taste to its unique bottle design, which features a beautiful piña pattern. This world-first packaging was inspired by the natural beauty of Mexico and 100% finest Weber Blue Agave – a core ingredient,” Newby continued.

Made in small batches using both the roller mill and tahona methods to extract the agave and in wooden barrels to ferment the liquid, Patrón Cristalino is aged in four different barrels for 12 to 15 months. It is then filtered through charcoal to give it a crystal clear appearance. The result is a sweeter profile with bold, woody notes that don't mask the baked agave flavors that are so unique to Patrón.

“At Patrón, we remain true to our tried and tested methods and combine the best of traditional and modern techniques to develop Patrón Cristalino,” says David RodriguezPatron Tequila Master Distiller.

“What really sets us and this Cristalino apart is our commitment to the integrity of our process and delivering deep flavor. The result is an additive-free Cristalino with naturally sweet notes of butterscotch and vanilla, lightly cooked agave and a smooth finish.”
