Tyreek Hill suggests Caleb Williams reminds him of Patrick Mahomes after viral videos | News, scores, highlights, stats and rumors

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was apparently nostalgic when he saw Caleb Williams zipping across the field on Saturday.

The Chicago Bears' first-round pick shone in his second taste of preseason action on Saturday against the Cincinnati Bengals, demonstrating his creativity outside the pocket and his talent for throwing with a rushing touchdown and a dime for fellow rookie Rome Odunze:

Hill, a longtime teammate of Patrick Mahomes on the Kansas City Chiefs, watched Williams' game at X and alluded to the rookie reminding him of a certain quarterback he had played with:

Caleb Williams, so nice, he reminds me of ……

Hill's time with Mahomes, of course, produced explosive results. During their time together, Hill rushed for 4,854 yards and was named to the Pro Bowl four times, All-Pro twice, and a Super Bowl appearance once.

The Bears hope for similar results as Williams prepares to lead a receiver group that includes Odunze, DJ Moore and Keenan Allen.

Williams should not be expected to reach Mahomes' level of play at the start of his rookie season.

But given Williams' stylistic flair and prestigious college pedigree, it's fair to wonder if he can climb the league's quarterback rankings and establish himself as one of the best playmakers sooner rather than later.
