Felipe Pena 2-0 at the ADCC Worlds 2024 before the super fight against Gordon Ryan

Felipe Pena scored another victory by submission on the first day of the 2024 ADCC World Championship, reaching the semifinals of the 99 kg class just hours before his superfight against Gordon Ryan.

Pena defeated John Hansen in the quarterfinals on August 17 after knocking out Brandon Reed in the first round. It was Pena's second submission win of the tournament.

Pena's day isn't over yet, though. Pena will face reigning Super Fight champion Gordon Ryan at the end of Day 1 at T-Mobile Arena in the first of two superfights this weekend. Pena has a 2-1 overall record against Ryan, but lost their last meeting in 2022.

Every Pena fight at the ADCC will be streamed live on FloGrappling and the FloSports app.
