Brooklyn Nets NBA 2K25 Ratings Released

NBA 2K is one of the most popular sports video game franchises of all time, and every year fans and players eagerly await the ratings that are given out. Just a few days ago, the NBA 2K25 player ratings were released and the Brooklyn Nets received the lowest team rating in the league at 79, the only team below 80.

This makes sense considering Brooklyn has just begun rebuilding after trading Mikal Bridges. Similar to their 2K ranking, the Nets have the lowest win total heading into the 2024-25 NBA season at 19.5.

Nicolas Claxton and Cam Thomas have the highest player ratings on the team, with each receiving an overall rating of 83. Dennis Schröder and Cameron Johnson follow with 79 each. Ben Simmons, the Nets' highest-paid player through 2025, has an overall rating of 77.

Aside from Thomas, the young players were not expected to play very well. Noah Clowney has a 75, while NBA Summer League MVP Jalen Wilson only has a 72. Dariq Whitehead, who had a particularly poor performance in the Summer League, has a 71.

Thomas entered last season with a 76 overall rating, meaning he climbed seven points in a season, the biggest improvement of any player on the roster. The 22-year-old is expected to have another season of improvement, getting more touches and becoming the franchise guard Brooklyn needs.

The biggest drop was seen by Bojan Bogdanovic, whose total dropped from 82 to 78 last season. Bogdanovic has the team's highest three-point rating at 83 and will be another veteran to help the young core find their way in the NBA.
