Gas prices in Southland remain stable

The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline at self-dispensing stations in Los Angeles County fell three-tenths of a cent to $4.566 on Saturday.

The average price is the same as a week ago, 15.2 cents less than a month ago and 70.3 cents less than a year ago, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has fallen by $1.928 since rising to a record high of $6.494 on October 5, 2022.

The average price in Orange County fell two-tenths of a cent to $4.497. That's 1.7 cents more than a week ago, but 14.4 cents less than a month ago and 71.8 cents less than a year ago. The average price in Orange County has fallen $1.962 since rising to a record $6.459 on October 5, 2022.
