Man arrested after Pattawatomie scandal

Authorities said a man was arrested Friday night following a standoff in Pottawatomie County.

Sheriff's office and Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials arrived at the scene of the crash near Gaddy Road and Sandy Rock Road near Tecumseh late Friday.

OHP confirms the arrest of suspect Jayson Click.

According to authorities, there were several arrest warrants out of Cleveland County for Click.

On Friday afternoon, Click was riding a motorcycle, ignored the right of way and crashed into the car of the 17-year-old son of a deputy sheriff.

Click asked the teenager to drive him home

The teenager told the deputy what had happened and the deputy called OHP.

A police officer went to Click's house to investigate the encounter when Click pointed a rifle at the patrol officer.

The deputies and the OHP tactical team responded.

After several hours, Click surrendered and was arrested.

A search warrant was issued for his home and several guns and ammunition were seized. Click is a felon and is not allowed to own a weapon.
