Man shot while driving into Strawberry Mansion, police say – NBC10 Philadelphia

A man was shot and killed early Saturday morning while driving through Philadelphia's Strawberry Mansion neighborhood, police said.

According to police, officers responded to a shooting in the 2400 block of North Stanley Street around 2:39 a.m.

When they arrived, officers found that a 32-year-old man had been shot twice in the chest and once in the hip.

Officers at the scene told NBC10 that the man was shot while driving a car and then crashed into a building just a block from his home.

Police said officers took the man to the hospital, where he died of his injuries around 3:03 a.m.

According to police, no weapon was seized in this case and no arrests were made.

Police also point out that there is a $20,000 reward in all Philadelphia murder cases for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
