Domestic violence case against Disney star Skai Jackson dropped

Skai Jackson can breathe a sigh of relief as the domestic violence charges were dropped due to lack of evidence.

Jackson, known for her roles in the Disney Channel series “Bunk'd” and “Jessie,” was recently embroiled in a legal battle after allegedly attacking her boyfriend during a public brawl that was caught on video.

Skai Jackson has kept her love life secret since her ugly split from her alleged ex-boyfriend Julez Smith, so it remains unclear who her current boyfriend is.

Jackson was arrested last week after she was seen arguing with her boyfriend at Universal CityWalk. Officers immediately arrived on the scene and arrested the couple because video footage showed her shoving her boyfriend.

However, the case will not be pursued because there is allegedly not enough evidence for a trial. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office told the news agency that it will not file charges because Jackson has no criminal record and the alleged victim suffered no injuries and refuses to cooperate with prosecutors.

Little is known about Jackson's boyfriend as she has chosen to keep him off social media. However, she shared a selfie with a mystery man on Snapchat on Monday, three days after her arrest.

Jackson has always kept her relationships out of the public eye, including her alleged romance with Solange Knowles' son Julez Smith.

At the time, fans weren't sure if the two were still together. Their breakup only became public knowledge when screenshots of Smith's chats with his friends about her surfaced online.

In the chats, he claimed that they had met, but he ended things after he found out that she had cheated on him.

Smith accused him of taking revenge on the former Disney child star, a claim many suspected was a reference to the sexually explicit video of Jackson that went viral on the Internet.

At the time, he is said to have written: “I made sure her life was ruined.”

At the time of their arrest, despite video evidence, the couple denied being physical with each other and reportedly told officers they were happily engaged and expecting a baby.

She was nevertheless arrested and charged with domestic violence, but was released a few hours later.

The actress has not yet publicly confirmed the pregnancy reports.

Since her time as a Disney child star ended, Jackson has been involved in several controversies.

In the court documents, which E! NewsJackson said that “the bullying has made me afraid to leave the house alone and has made it impossible for me to sleep.”

Jackson also came under criticism last year when she decided to hold a raffle for her supporters and charged an entry fee that some considered too high.
