Ariana Madix's brother Jeremy has come into conflict with the law.

The former Vanderpump Rules Star was arrested in Orlando, Florida earlier this year for attempting to smuggle over 100 pounds of marijuana into Germany.

Details of his arrest and the charges against him have been made public.

People receive JeremyArrest warrant indicating that the incident occurred at Orlando International Airport on February 16, 2024. However, the arrest did not occur until July 10.

Jeremy and his friend Jonah Ahad were stopped by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer and their luggage was searched. The former had about 76 pounds of cannabis in his luggage, while Ahad had 37 pounds.

They were accused of cannabis trafficking, which “carries a minimum of three years in prison and a $25,000 fine.”

Jeremy was arrested in California and extradited to Florida, but legal documents show that he and his mother are asking for him to be released on bail.

It is not immediately clear whether the request was granted.

Beginning of the year Jeremy revealed that he and Ariana were estranged and explained why they hadn't spoken to each other for years.
