Into The Fire – The Lost Daughter OTT release date Netflix: When can you watch the documentary?

The OTT release date of Into the Fire: The Lost Daughter has been set. In the two-part documentary, a mother learns that her daughter, whom she gave up for adoption years ago, has gone missing and now she will do anything to find her. “Into the Fire: The Lost Daughter” will be released on Netflix on September 12, 2024.


Plot

Cathy Terkanian received a letter in April 2010 that would change her life forever. The social worker who wrote it revealed that Terkanian's adopted daughter, whom she had given up for adoption 35 years earlier, had disappeared from her new home in 1989. Terkanian embarked on a 10-year mission to find out what had happened to her child, enlisting the help of local authorities and an amateur detective, driven by her need for answers.

In the recently released trailer for “Into the Fire: The Lost Daughter,” Cathy Terkanian said, “She was missing for 21 years when they finally found me.” She added that she was 17 years old when she gave her baby daughter up for adoption. She also said that she had thought about the girl her entire life. She later found out the child was missing and thought about finding her alive by hook or by crook. She added, “I don't care if I have to walk across God's green earth to do it.”

Into the Fire: The Lost Daughter is a film directed and produced by Ryan White (as Pamella, A Love Story and The Keepers). The project was produced by Jessica Hargrave, Matt Maher and Charlize Theron.
