The Wildwoods release video for “Cherry Pickin'”

Nebraska folk trio The Wildwoods have released a new music video for their single “Cherry Pickin'.” Known for their growing prominence in the Americana music scene, the band recently gained major attention when their cover of “Home” by Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros went viral on Instagram.

“Cherry Pickin'” features visuals that singer and violinist Chloe Gose says capture the joy of camaraderie and cherished moments. Shot during cherry season in Lincoln, Nebraska, the video was originally supposed to feature cherry trees, but was changed due to the heat. Instead, the first part was shot on the University of Nebraska's east campus, surrounded by gardens, and the second part was shot in the back of an old 1949 Chevy truck, provided by a fan's neighbor.

The video underlines the band's connection to their community and their appreciation for their support.
