A Stuart man was recently arrested as part of an ongoing investigation.

According to Stuart police, officers investigated several incidents over several weeks in which metal projectiles were allegedly fired at a home in the 500 block of South Gaines Street. On Friday evening, a search warrant was executed on the 500 block of South Harrison Street, the home of the defendant, 52-year-old Bobby Glenn Agan. Officers seized similar items with fireworks attached, as well as several drug-related items, controlled substances and illegal firearms.

Agan was arrested and charged with several felonies and misdemeanors, including stalking with a dangerous weapon, two counts of his second offense for violating the controlled substances law, illegal possession of a firearm, possession of an assault weapon, possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
