Who killed Miracle Murray? | FOX 2 Detroit

It has been more than eight years since six-month-old Miracle Murray was shot and killed.

Jennifer Murray, mother of Miracles, says bringing her daughter into the world was challenging. Doctors told her she would be born with multiple disabilities, but her mother says that wasn't the case.

“When I had her, the doctors said she was fine, she was just small. That's when I called my baby a miracle,” says Murray.

Less than six months after this wonderful birth, Miracle was taken away from her family.

Murray says she was on the porch with her family in the 18000 block of Winthrop on April 16, 2016, when a gunman appeared across the street and started shooting.

Then, Murray said, her uncle came in and said he had been hit. When she noticed blood in the house, she realized it was her daughter's.

Murray says she pulled Miracle out of the stroller and realized she had been shot in the back. She later died.

Authorities said they initially had two suspects in custody but did not have enough evidence to detain them.
