Paris Hilton gives update after fire on music video set

While Paris Hilton has explored numerous business ventures over the years, her lavish lifestyle has caught the media's attention. Hilton has been more than willing to give her fans a glimpse into her life and has used social media to expand her growing fan base. But aside from being a model and businesswoman, Hilton is also a singer and has released her debut album Paris in 2006. Although it has been 18 years, Hilton is about to release her latest album, Infinite symbol in September. And while working on a music video for the album, a fire apparently raged on the set and in Hilton's trailer.

In addition to being on set during the fire, Hilton also explained that Lance Bass, Meghan Trainor and Heidi Klum were safe when they were supposed to appear in the video. While filming the video for her song “Bad Bitch Academy,” Hilton shared, “Unfortunately, a fire accidentally broke out in my trailer today on the set of my music video. As heartbreaking as it is, I'm so thankful that everyone is safe and I'm incredibly grateful for the incredible support I have around me.”

Paris Hilton said: “The show must go on”

Hilton posted a video showing the aftermath of the fire and captioned it: “Assessing the damage after yesterday's fire. Heartbreaking to see so many of my favorite things destroyed. All the beautiful custom outfits we had made for the music video, designer couture outfits, all my favorite sunglasses, shoes, handbags, jewelry, computers, cameras, phones and so much more. But thankfully everyone is safe and OK and that's all that matters. Here's hoping the second day of filming 'Bad Bitch Academy' is a little less exciting. This #InfiniteIcon era is clearly hot.”

While she promised her fans that she and the crew were safe, the singer received a mountain of support. “I'm glad you and your fur babies are safe! I'm sorry you lost some of your favorite things.” Another person added, “I'm so sorry this happened to you but I'm glad no one was hurt and hopefully it never happens again! I miss you very much.”

Hilton's return to music will take place on September 6, when the star releases her second studio album. Although the fire slowed production, she stressed, “The show must go on.”
