Specifications release schedule: What to expect from the upcoming Fan Edition smartphone

According to rumors, South Korean smartphone maker Samsung is soon launching the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE 5G in India. Shortly after its appearance on a support page and a recent image leak, the handset was reportedly spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification platform. The handset reportedly appeared with the model number “SM-S721B/DS”, which matches the one mentioned on the support page.

Meanwhile, the launch schedule and specifications of the device have been leaked in the recent past.

Samsung S24 FE Specifications (Expectations)

Samsung S23FE could have a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 120Hz screen with 1,900 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. Under the hood, it could house an octa-core Exynos 2400e chipset with Samsung Xclipse 940 GPU. The phone could run on One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14 and a number of Galaxy AI features.

It could have a 4,565mAh battery with 25W wired and wireless charging support. As for optics, the handset could offer a 50MP OIS main lens + 12MP ultra-wide-angle + 8MP telephoto lens on the rear and a 10MP selfie sensor. As for connectivity, it could get Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Other highlights could include an IP68 rating, an aluminum frame, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

According to a recent leak by ETNews, the handset could launch sometime in October 2024. The smartphone could come in blue, green, graphite, silver, green, and yellow colors.
