Naruto fans will not forgive Masashi Kishimoto for killing an insanely strong character early in the series who deserved better

Masashi Kishimoto has never been stingy with the death of characters in Naruto-san. No matter how much potential they had and how much fame they gained among fans, once their purpose was fulfilled, their role in the manga would largely be the same. Jiraiya was one of the greatest examples of this.

So much so that Kishimoto refused to bring him back with the introduction of Edo Tensei. Many of the characters introduced seemed to be killed off pretty quickly, no matter how much potential they had. Kimimaro was a character full of immense potential that was limited by his own illness. As a loyal ally of Orochimaru, his villainy could have known no bounds.

Masashi Kishimoto's villain who died too soon

Kimimaro possessed tremendous power as a villain. He was able to hold his own against some of the strongest characters in Masashi Kishimoto's series, although his body quickly failed him. Despite being this brave force to be reckoned with, he was plagued by his own illness. No matter how much he wanted to achieve something, his fragile health was an obstacle he could not overcome.

He was able to fight Naruto, Rock Lee, and Gaara all by himself, but died from an illness he had no power over. The fact that the Sound Four trembled at his name despite his weakness was proof that he would have been unstoppable even if he had been in the best of health.

The Sound Four were some extremely strong antagonists, but Kimimaro had the potential to take on all of them despite once being a part of them himself. He was able to function at a somewhat optimal level even as his body rapidly weakened. It goes without saying that fans wanted to see more of him.

Kimimaro was a character who was killed too early in Naruto-san. No matter how much fans would have liked to see him back, Masashi Kishimoto was not the one to bring him back, especially when fans speculated about how strong he might have been when fully healthy.

His only weakness seemed to be his increasing health issues, and had those ever been out of the picture, Kimimaro would have been unstoppable. Many fans even wonder how powerful he could have become, to the point where he could have even rivaled the Akatsuki. Kishimoto could have easily used some sort of plot armor to reverse his illness or cure him.

He could have lived longer and fulfilled his true potential instead of dying and leaving fans with nothing but ideas and possibilities that would never come true.

Naruto can be viewed on Netflix.
