Casey O'Neill imitates viral Australian Olympic breakdancer Raygun after winning UFC 305

Australian MMA star Casey O'Neill celebrated her victory at UFC 305 by imitating Rachael “Raygun” Gunn.

The Australian Olympic breakdancer lost all three of her heats at the Paris Games, and her unorthodox routine – which included imitating a kangaroo and using the “sprinkler” dance move – turned her into a viral meme.

On Saturday night, O'Neill ended a two-fight losing streak with a much-needed unanimous decision victory over Luana Santos in Perth, Australia.

After raising her hand, the UFC flyweight celebrated her victory by mimicking some of Raygun's dance moves in the center of the Octagon.

When the victory was announced, O'Neill burst into tears before falling to the mat, rolling onto her side and reaching for her toes to mimic one of Gunn's most famous moves.

Then she stood up, lifted one leg and leaned back with her arms raised to her chest to do “the kangaroo.”

Addressing the assembled media a few minutes later during her post-fight press conference, O'Neill said of her routine, “I give that a 10.”

“I think I did better than them [Gunn] did at the Olympic Games.

“I think if they bring it [breaking] When I come back in 2028, I might have to take a break from MMA and get a gold medal.”

Breakdancing will not be part of the next Olympic Games.

After the sport was included in the 2018 Youth Olympic Games, it made its debut in the French capital this year.

However, a return to the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles was not planned.

To ensure variety, competitions are constantly being added or removed from the Olympic program.

Cricket and lacrosse were recently cancelled and reinstated, so there is a possibility that breakdancing will be resurrected in the coming years.

The World DanceSport Federation said it was “working hard to ensure” that breakdancing would be represented at the 2032 Olympic Games in Brisbane.

But at the moment it is no longer an Olympic sport.

The five new disciplines offered at the Los Angeles Games are cricket, flag football, lacrosse, squash and baseball/softball.

Lacrosse hasn't been in the Olympics since 1908 and cricket hasn't been included since 1900.
