Deonna Purrazzo on the MJF and Britt Baker's backstage incident

– During a recent interview with Stephanie Chase on Wrestling, AEW star Deonna Purrazzo talked about the recent backstage altercation that took place between MJF and Britt Baker at the 250th episode of AEW Dynamite last month. Here are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):

Deonna Purrazzo makes the incident seem bigger on the internet than it was: “I think it was just one incident that caused a lot of drama and also kind of took on a life of its own. The rumor mill starts churning and then things aren't the same anymore. You know what I mean? People put their two cents in and it makes it a lot bigger than it was.”

To the AEW locker room: “I think that was an isolated incident because everything else I've experienced in this dressing room is supportive, encouraging and full of camaraderie. We've just recently celebrated people's birthdays, eating birthday cake and singing. I don't think this dressing room gets the recognition it deserves for that kind of camaraderie.”

Britt Baker has reportedly been suspended due to the incident with MJF. She is scheduled to challenge Mercedes Mone for the TBS Title on Sunday, August 25th at AEW All In: London. The event will take place at Wembley Stadium in London and will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
