Stow community honors victims of murder-suicide at Taco Bell with vigil

STOW, Ohio (WOIO) – The Stow community will come together Sunday evening to pay their final respects to Megan Keleman, the victim of the murder and suicide at Taco Bell.

The vigil will be hosted by the Mayor of Stow, who will be present at the Town Hall on Sunday at 7 p.m.

“Megan Keleman, who tragically passed away this week. Megan was a beloved daughter, sister and friend whose vibrant spirit touched all who knew her,” said a press release about the vigil.

Kelemen was killed Wednesday at the Taco Bell on Graham Road.

According to officials, the incident began around 7:19 p.m. Wednesday after Keleman, 25, asked a Taco Bell employee to call police.

Stow Police Chief Jeffrey Film said the officer reported that Keleman's car was struck by the driver behind her in the drive-thru lane.

Chief Film said officers were on their way there when several people called 911 to report a shooting.

According to police, a man named Jason Williams, 53, of Cuyahoga Falls got out of his car and approached Keleman in her car.

According to Chief Film, Williams shot her before taking his own life.

Witnesses told police that Williams hit Keleman's car after she honked as she turned into the drive-thru.

Chief Film said in a press conference: “We have no information to suggest that the two people knew each other.”

Keleman's funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Riverwood Chapel.
