After a slight shoving match broke out during their face-off at a press conference at Fanatics Fest in New York City on Sunday, heavyweight legend Mike Tyson took to social media to poke fun at his opponent Jake Paul.

Tyson posted photos of his duel with Paul and explained: “I love meeting my fans.”

Throughout most of the press conference, it was clear that Tyson wasn't taking things as seriously as Paul, suggesting he doesn't see the former YouTuber as a major threat. During their duel, the 58-year-old playfully shoved Paul and laughed when the 27-year-old shoved back:

Tyson was scheduled to face Paul on July 20, but had to pull out of the fight due to a stomach ulcer. The fight date was rescheduled for November 15, and it is still the first major combat sports event to be broadcast live on Netflix.

Many have criticized the pairing between Paul and Tyson due to their 30-year age difference. However, the former heavyweight champion of the world did not seem too concerned about how he would fare against the youngster.

When asked why he would agree to fight Paul at this point in his life, Tyson replied, “Because I can. Who else can do it but me? Who else would he fight to make that happen? We just have to believe the fact that here's a YouTuber fighting the greatest fighter of all time.”

While Tyson isn't worried about Paul's ability, Paul is coming off a sixth-round TKO victory over Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship veteran Mike Perry last month to improve his record to 10-1. Tyson will be motivated to show that he can still put on a strong performance despite his age.
