Berhampur: Two six-year-olds Girl drowned in a Pond in Sindurapur village under the Sanakhemundi police station area of ​​Ganjam district on Sunday. According to sources, the victims were playing with another child near the pond and the duo might have slipped and fallen into the pond. “They were rushed to the nearby Digapahandi health centre where they were declared dead,” said Ajay Kumar Swain, senior inspector of Sanakhemundi police station.
The deceased were identified as Tulasi Dakua, daughter of Balaram Dakua, and Silima Nayak, daughter of Santosh Nayak.
